SPRING pH-B

Product Details

The SPRING pH Booster Chemical is specially formulated to be utilized for boiler feed water as alkalinity source to minimize the corrosion of pumps, lines and feed water tank.

This liquefied alkaline formulation is processed prudently to make it synergized with pH boosting and water conditioning characteristics. Our offered chemicals are highly compatible with various other treatment chemicals that improvise its usability.

These chemicals are superiorly known for their unique attributes such as biodegradable, excellent minimization of scaling & deposition, safe to use, impeccable pH boosting capacity, reduces corrosion and long shelf life. These precise formulated chemicals are used in water treatment plants, food industries, dairies and breweries for minimizing the corrosion.

Advantages

  • Prevents corrosion
  • Reduces iron and copper pick-up
  • Easy to handle and feed
  • Broad spectrum vapor liquid distribution
  • System losses minimized
SPECIFICATIONS
pH (Concentrate) Highly Alkaline ( > 12)

Directions for use

In most industrial systems, use of sufficient level of SPRING pH-B to maintain a condensate pH above 8.0. The dosage level varies and its depending upon capacity of system, water supply, amount of condensate return and type of pre-treatment plant in use.

Dosage of pH booster

This runs in the range of 7 ppm to 40 ppm for SPRING pH-B to raise the pH to 7.5-8.0. This should be considered very seriously by plants using a process to control pH. Continuous dosing of SPRING pH-B with a metering pump is recommended, but slug feeding is acceptable. May be mixed and fed with most other conventional water treatment chemicals. SPRING pH-B may be fed to the feed line, boiler or steam line preferably the first two.

Limitations and handling

Keep the container closed when not in use. Harmful if swallowed and Avoid prolonged contact with the skin. Should it be exposed to the eyes, flush with clean, cold water and get prompt medical attention. The method of treatment of water will vary based on the quality of water.
